1. AIS Membership FAQ: Why, When and How to become a member.
Q. Why should I become a member?
A. Because you love the AIS and want to support the events! And yes, for just $15 for the whole year, people tell us it is a great value for money.
Q. What do I get as a member... is it really worth my hard earned $15?
A. Do the math - Entry to Garba : $10, Desi Food at Diwali : $5, Entry to the career event : Another couple of dollars. ... the list goes on.
but
Getting all these [and much more, like a 15% discount at India's Tandoori restaurant] for free with the membership : Priceless :-).
Q. I am convinced, I want to be a member! But How and Where?
A. Great! We shall be taking memberships on the spot at all our events. So bring Cash or Check at the welcome party on 9/4 and get in!
Q. I have the receipt, when do I get my sticker to be pasted on my ID?
A. Thanks for being one of the early birds! We will be giving the stickers at the welcome party. Remember to bring your receipt!
2. Event Calendar : So, what's gonna happen?
The Fall semester is all planned out, well, at least the big events , but trust us to pepper the sem with our small-scale events (movies, socials) also.
