August 15th: Flag Hoisting and International Students Reception

Hi all,

It was nice to see so many new faces for the orientation and the city walk trip. The board had great fun and we hope you had too.

We will be hoisting the tricolor at 7:30am tomorrow [Wed. Aug. 15] at E.F.Hutton Park [between THH and BOV].

Also, we will be at the International Students Reception in Founders Park from 5pm - 7pm tomorrow.

You can become a member at all these events. Once again, the membership fee is $10 and it includes
- free food at Diwali and Garba
- 25% discount for one meal at Manas Restaurant [for members joining on or before Aug 20]
- $15 off air tickets bought from JH Bazaar
- $5 off the tickets at the Annu Kapoor Antakshari on Aug 26th [we will be selling tickets tomorrow at our desk also]
- more discounts at the other shows such as that by Strings [in Oct sometime] and Junoon [planned] by the people who are bringing Annu Kapoor to Bovard.
