Information on Membership Tabling & AIS's 1st Event of This Semester

Association of Indian Students

Hi Guys & Gals,

We are having our membership tabling at the Engineering Quad (The area next to OHE) , Today (i.e. Friday 7th September 2007) between 1 pm to 3 pm. So, you guys can come in and get registered as a member in AIS. Just like last year, we charge a membership fee of $10 per person . Since we have a yearly membership system, all the existing members are also expected to sign up as an AIS member for the next academic year.

We are also having our 1st event of this semester. Yes.. its now there... We have a solo Bharatanatyam dance performance at Bovard Auditorium on Saturday, 8th September 2007 between 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm. Dinner will be served to the audience after the show. It is to be noted that this event is a very formal event and hence we request all the audience to be dressed ONLY in full formals or traditional Indian dress. Please note that Jeans, T-shirts etc are NOT allowed. We will also be having our membership tables there. So, if you want to renew or register for being an AIS member, you can also do it there.

Finally, we have released new layout for our AIS website. So if you have any changes of any of the contents given in the website, please email us. Also would be adding a new gallery for the website. So, if you guys want to share some of the photos with us and add it into the website, please email it to us india@usc.edu with the event name and year.

Thank You.

AIS Team
