Hi Guys & Gals,

 

The days come closer to the major events of AIS this semester namely the AIS Garba and Diwali Show which falls on 20 th Oct and 10th Nov respectively.

 

If you are looking out to perform for the AIS diwali show, then you can sign up at http://www-scf.usc.edu/~india . Performing at the Bovard Auditorium is a dream come true opportunity for any person who want to showcase their talents. So, make use of it.

 

Also, the Indian music group 'Anubhavam' is looking for guitarists to perform with them on stage at the diwali show (Nov. 10th). Interested people get in touch with Neha ( njparikh@usc.edu ).

 

Many people had been asking us regarding payment of the membership fee. You can pay the membership fee on 20 th Oct, 2007 i.e. during the Garba Dance Night or you can even pay through the PayPal system in the website.

- Entry is free for all USC students

- Dandiyas will be sold at the counter for $5 a pair

- For USC alumini and others the whole package is $20 (Entry+Food+Dandiya)

Directions: Take Santa Ana Fwy (5) south; after Disneyland exit (Katella), exit at City Drive, turn right, and immediately turn right at Chapman, then left at Lewis, and right into the parking lot. The Crystal Cathedral will be on your right. After the show, the actors will wait outside in their costume, so you can take pictures with them. (No pictures during the show)
